About CODE Capital.

CODE Capital is a first-check venture fund backing builder-founders across Europe. Launched in 2026 and based in Berlin, the fund invests €50–100k in technical founders at the earliest stage, with selective follow-on capital, across AI, developer tools, quantum, and Deep Tech.

CODE Capital is led by Prof. Dr. Julia Köhn and has a structural advantage in deal flow through its connection to CODE — a tech-focused private university in Berlin that has graduated builders and founders since 2017.

The fund writes high-conviction first checks, leans in operationally during the first 18 months, and follows on selectively in subsequent rounds.

Prof. Dr. Julia Köhn is the founder and an investor in CODE Capital, where she serves as Initiating Partner. She combines academic depth with operational experience and a long-standing connection to Europe's emerging builder community through her work with CODE. Her thesis: the next category of European tech companies will be built by technical founders backed at the earliest, highest-conviction stage.
